JIM’S NOTES:
It's been an honor having Joey, a creative, consumate professional, play on my albums over two decades, and a blessing to have developed a genunine friendship with such a humble, caring individual. The JIM & JOEY CD project is a celebration of that friendship, with a curated collection of the best tracks Joey and I have teamed up on. It's my way to say THANKS to one of Texas' most gifted players, Joey Colarusso!

I’m proud of all these vocal and instrumental collaborations, and especially excited to be sharing our most recent tracks, Fresher Air and, my arrangement of the Gershwin classic, Summertime. More than that, you’ll discover as soon as you hear the whole album, that the songs flow from one to the next better than any record I’ve made. A lot of that has to do with the sensibility of all the players involved and the comfort zone we’ve achieved from playing together through the years.
